Help :( what should i do with my boyfriend"fiance"?

well what you guys think about this.. my boyfriend is always ALWAYS talking about marry me, and have kids but he always say that right now the problem is the money, and i always tell that i dont care the money, i would love to be his wife rich or not rich i dont care, but he always say that i deserve a BIG HUGE WEDDING and i tell that i dont need that to be happy but hes soo stubborn and keep telling me that he will get the money for my BIG wedding THAT I DONT WANT.. but a few days ago told me if something happen here where i lived "guatemala" hes from colorado btw.. i just need to call him and he will get to the border MEXICO/USA to married me and go to the states!! I DONT GOT IT what is he trying to say? i mean he say if something happen here i go to the border we get married there and then go to the states... should i tell him that i cant live here anymore and that im going to the border so he can meet me there? is that a good idea cause honestly this place where i live now SUCKS, everyday earthquakes and murders.. :(
