Why am I CRAVING salads?
Raw veggies are full of enzymes, minerals, fiber and vitamins that your body needs for good health besides tasting good. Chlorophyll is a great body cleanser and natural deodorizer, too. We naturally crave what we need to maintain good health. My daughter had a chronic illness as a teen and would crave the most unusual foods. Eggplant for example. I bought it for her, sometimes 3 per week and then decided to research what eggplant had in it that might benefit her health. There is a natural chemical in eggplant that is anti-seizure, she had been having seizures for over a year. She started craving Indian curry spices and using them on a daily basis. I researched that mixture and discovered that turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, cayenne and other spices that are in curry powder are anti-inflammatory and natural painkillers, she had arthritis with her illness. There were several other foods that helped to heal her and by the time she was freshman in college she no longer needed her medications.
