Boycott Exxon & Mobil. It can be done?

Hmm, I just got a chain mail like this today. Only problem is it had different companies. Not going to work, but I don't think you shouldn't try. As soon as Exxon/Mobil gets a dime cheaper than anyone else though everyone would go back to them - boycott will not significantly lower gas prices.
