Do I really need a lawyer for my dads estate if he had a will and I can handle lots of this myself?

My dad got himself a will together before he died and left everything to me and I am totally capable of handling things like unsecured debt, cars, boats etc. real estate may be tricky. The lawyer is asking about 401k's etc. and I have contacted his copany already myself and am handling it. Is this guy just trying to milk us for what he can you think?
