Do you think Quentin Tarantino has made an impact on film?

For school I get to pick someone or something that has made an impact on the film industry. My fallback plan in Alfred Hitch for obvious reasons, but I'm fascinated with Quentin Tarantino. So my question is, do you think he has made some sort of impact on film? If so, can you elaborate? Thank you!
