I'm thinking of a career change either as a pediatric nurse or as a teacher! Am really confused,pls help!?

I heard it's quite easy to get struck off as a nurse and you get alot of abuse from my families, but the idea of taking care of children is very appealing to me and satisfying. I definitely want to work with children but am stuck as to what to do.
